Book directly with Dr. Keith Richardson, MD, FRCSC, a head and neck surgical oncologist. Choose in person or video if eligible, share your concern, upload any records you have, and reserve your consultation online without back-and-forth.
Some clinic procedures may be planned with your consultation when appropriate. Surgery is quoted only after Dr. Richardson has assessed you.
Minor, non-surgical procedures can be done in a single visit. If you would rather be assessed first, you can start with a consultation instead.
If you already know which minor procedure you need, book a procedure visit and have it done in one appointment. Dr. Richardson examines you at the start and carries it out the same day when it is appropriate. If it is not, your visit simply stays a consultation.
Book a minor procedure →Not sure which procedure you need, or would rather be seen first? Book a consultation. A suitable minor procedure can still be done at the same visit if Dr. Richardson confirms it is appropriate.
Book a consultationSurgery is always planned with you after a consultation, and is never booked directly from this website.
Dr. Keith Richardson is a head and neck surgical oncologist at the McGill University Health Centre. He completed his MD and FRCSC at McGill, where he is Program Director and Assistant Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, and has co-authored 67 peer-reviewed publications.
He treats thyroid and parathyroid disease, salivary gland tumors, skin cancers of the face, scalp, ear, nose and neck, neck masses, mouth and tongue lesions, and selected head and neck cancers. Consultations are in English and French, in person or by video.
Dr. Richardson treats a defined set of head and neck concerns. A quick look before you book.
Not sure? See the full list of what is treated or book a consultation and the clinic will review your case.
Getting started should not mean phone tag or waiting on a callback. You can do all of it online, in a few minutes.
In person or by video, whichever suits you. Video works from anywhere in Canada or abroad.
Tell us what is going on and upload any imaging, pathology or referral letters. Uploading is optional, and you can add records later.
Review the consultation fee and hold your time with a deposit. That is it, no emails or calls needed to get started.
These are the areas Dr. Richardson treats. They describe what the practice focuses on, not a diagnosis or a recommended surgery. Your plan is always confirmed in person.
Thyroid nodules and cancer, parathyroid disease and high calcium, and the surgery these can require.
Lumps and disorders of the parotid and submandibular glands, including stones and tumors.
Removal and reconstruction for skin cancers of the face, scalp, ear and neck.
Cancers of the mouth, throat, voice box and related structures, with coordinated surgical care.
A new or changing lump in the neck, assessed and worked up to find the cause.
Lesions, sores and growths in the mouth and on the tongue that need a biopsy or removal.
A focused set of pediatric procedures for children and young adults.
Smaller procedures that can be done in the clinic, often at the same visit.
If your concern is not listed here, it may fall outside this practice. Book a consultation and the clinic will review your case, or guide you to the right care.
Booking holds a consultation, not a surgery. What happens next is the same for everyone, and it is what keeps care safe.
Dr. Richardson examines you and reviews your imaging, pathology and history at the visit.
He explains what is going on and what the choices are, in plain language, in English or French.
If surgery is the right step, the plan and a written quote are prepared after the visit, once confirmed with you.
Why it works this way. A surgical quote depends on the exact procedure, and that is decided with you at the consultation. No surgery is priced or booked beforehand. The tools used during booking only organize your information; they do not diagnose or recommend treatment, and all clinical decisions are made by Dr. Richardson and his team.
Family physicians, dermatologists, dentists and specialists can refer directly. Your patient is seen by a subspecialist, and you are kept informed through the course of care.
This is a private, non-participating practice. Your consultation is the first step, and your fee is confirmed when you book.
In person or by video. Confirmed at booking.
Prepared once Dr. Richardson has confirmed the plan with you.
Dr. Richardson is a non-participating physician who has opted out of RAMQ and bills privately. RAMQ does not reimburse this care. You will be asked to acknowledge this before any price is shown.
Tell us your concern, choose in person or video, and hold your appointment. The booking takes a few minutes.
